Pasteurization: 

• There are several methods of pasteurization, but the most common is the high-temperature short-time (HTST) method. 
• In this method, milk is heated to 161°F (71°C) for 15 seconds. 
• Other methods include the ultra-high temperature (UHT) method, which heats milk to 280-300°F (138-149°C) for 2-6 seconds.
